National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO)
The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Columbus believes that women are critical economic drivers for an inclusive economy. Women-owned companies are an undeniable asset, providing undeniable value and stability for families, communities, and our national economy.
Our purpose is to empower all women business owners to overcome challenges and fully realize their true potential, making their mark on the world.
As one of the largest NAWBO chapter in the U.S., we serve as the voice for more than 48,000 women business owners who call Columbus home. We support all women-owned companies - from the entrepreneur with an audacious idea, to the business owner who is leading a multi-million dollar enterprise.
We believe in the potential of women-owned firms to generate an additional $104 billion annually in revenues for Ohio’s economy, while creating more than 1.4 million jobs. However, this will only happen when they are provided equal access to the same economic, political and social systems as men.
